The founding gathering

32 Arora families met in Jaipur to formalize a shared home for the community.

1987

First scholarship fund

Launched with ₹2 lakh — supported 14 students through college in the first year.

1996

Community hall opens

Our flagship 400-seat hall in Delhi hosts its first wedding and matrimonial meet.

2008

Global chapters formed

Sister chapters in UK, USA, and Canada connect the diaspora under one banner.

Who can become a member of Arorvansh?
Any individual or family from the Punjabi Arora community, or those married into the community, are welcome. Annual, life, and patron memberships are available — start at the "Become a Member" section above.
How are donations used, and is my contribution tax-deductible?
Every donation is allocated to the cause you select — Education, Healthcare, Marriage Aid, or Infrastructure. We publish an annual audited impact report. All contributions are 100% tax-deductible under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
How do scholarships work for members' children?
Members' children in classes 10-12 and undergrad/postgrad programs can apply annually. Selection is based on academic merit and financial need. Full-tuition awards, book grants, and career mentorship are all included.
Is there a physical membership card, or is it digital only?
Both. You get an Apple Wallet-compatible digital card immediately upon joining, and a premium embossed physical card mailed within 10 business days. The QR code on either verifies your active status at any samaj event.
Can I volunteer without becoming a member?
Yes. Our Seva Corps welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds. Register for a shift on the Events page, and our coordinator will reach out with orientation details within 48 hours.
Does Arorvansh have chapters outside India?
Yes — active chapters in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and the UAE. Members receive full benefits across all chapters and can transfer their home chapter anytime via the member portal.
